What Are Typical Website Design Rates?
Really, it depends your website design needs. A 5 page site will cost much less than a shopping cart with 100 product skus and product tracking. Obviously.
That said, there's little consistency out there in design rates. And? Price does not always equal quality. I've seen some pretty horrible work at
both ends of the price spectrum. Some great work at both ends, too.
Typical web design rates to expect:
- A well designed small site starts in the $500 range.
- Content management systems run from $500 - $3500+
- Ecommerce sites start at $1200 if we add the products ($499 if you add the products using the site manager)
